How to become a private customer
Online
To be able to use the online registration you must have the Norwegian electronic signature “BankID”. You also have to be over 18 years old and be registered in folkeregisteret with a Norwegian address. A temporary Norwegian personal number (D-number) is fully valid in the process.
Visit a Branch
To become a customer of Nordea, you must visit one of our branches. Remember to bring valid identification. Preferably also bring your residence/work permit and a letter of recommendation from another bank. We look forward to showing you what Nordea can offer you as a customer.
Valid identification
In order to become a customer of Nordea, you must have:
- Valid identification for the establishment of a new customer relationship
- Valid identification for the issuance of a bank card with photo and for Netbank with BankID
- Documentation for corporate customers
